Instruction & Discovery Learning For the beginner to the experienced, Sweetwater Kayaks in St. Petersburg, Florida,
is an ideal sea kayaking destination. Tampa Bay, with its warm waters and
plentiful sunshine, allows us to offer instruction year-round in a unique subtropical
environment. All Sweetwater courses are designed to develop a
connection between the paddler and their kayak. This enables the paddler to
create a personal experience on the water through discovery learning.
Sweetwater Kayaks has the most experienced certified staff in Florida, each with years of experience, sometimes on some of the most challenging coastlines on the planet. All coaches are certified by either the American Canoe Association or the British Canoe Union; some are certified by both organizations. We live to paddle!
