One of our fun paddles close to the Skyway Bridge. We start near I-275 and then paddle our way through a mangrove forest. On first attempts, it took Don 2 hours to find his way through. Then we enter into the primary channel of the creek. As we paddle along we will see a quite small opeing in the mangroves on one side of us. That small opening into Frog Creek is the Terre Ceia River. At that point the "creek" is a whole lot bigger than the "river". We'll continue on, possibly exploring some small salt ponds along the way. When the plants are thick we turn around at US-41. Otherwise, we continue until the creek becomes unpassable.
